Welcome to Dr. Saori’s Virtual Office

Living between countries and cultures can bring unique challenges, especially for military, expatriate, and international families.

Dr. Saori’s Virtual Office offers personalized support for individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions and cross-cultural experiences. Drawing on her international background in psychology, education, and cross-cultural communication, Dr. Saori brings a practical and culturally sensitive perspective to her work.

For military and expat families preparing for a PCS to Japan, she offers guidance on adjusting to everyday life in Iwakuni and Okinawa, including cultural adjustment and the practical questions that often come with settling into a new community.

The Virtual Office also offers wellness and health coaching, along with mental skills training in areas such as relaxation, imagery, focus, confidence building, goal setting, and self-hypnosis. Self-hypnosis is taught as a practical skill that clients can learn, practice, and use independently as part of their personal wellness and mental skills development.

Dr. Saori also offers divorce mediation and divorce coaching, with particular attention to international couples, military and veteran families, and expatriate families. Cultural differences, international circumstances, and military life can sometimes add another layer of complexity to separation and divorce. Mediation provides a neutral setting where both parties can communicate, explore practical options, and work toward mutually acceptable solutions.

Divorce mediation and coaching do not constitute legal advice or legal representation. Dr. Saori serves as an impartial mediator and does not represent either party. Because jurisdiction and legal requirements depend on individual circumstances, clients are encouraged to consult a qualified attorney regarding their legal rights, responsibilities, and any proposed agreement.

Dr. Saori’s coaching, wellness, and mental skills services are educational and supportive in nature and are not psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or a substitute for care provided by a licensed mental health professional.

As a fully virtual office, Dr. Saori’s practice provides a convenient and personal way to connect, whether you are adjusting to life overseas, navigating a family transition, or looking to develop practical skills for your well-being and everyday life.
